I would like to thank everyone who has helped me source parts, without you lots of this would not have been doable and most of you on the forum for the wonderful advice and guidance that you have freely given and has been gratefully received. You know who you are!

The last stage is to swap out the handguard as soon as funds allow..and when i finally settle on 'the one'. Then she will be done!

Until then i am happy to just keep shooting this wonderful, enigmatic rifle for many more years to come. I LOVE THE 15-22.

This 1000th post was brought to you by your friendly neighbourhood GhostMutt, with a special guest appearance by my pet GhostMantis

1000 posts eh?

You have waaaaay too much to say,,,, lmao.

If you were not so in love with this lil ol plinker, you wouldn't be breathing so heavy as to fog the glass, there wouldn't need the para cord wrap.

Nice looking rig tho I must say.

Now to sort that visitors day and get my ***** to York,

Well done my friend.

Rob.

Default Great!

Congrats on your 1000th post. I'll join you for a cappuccino. I'm thinking that your highly customized rifle can brew us some. If not, you need more parts.

Nice and congrats. I also have the plinker tactical charging handle.

I searched for hand guards to go on the rail but didn't like the after market ones that came in pieces. I bought some Knights Armament military surplus hand guards at a gun show. I like the way they look and work. The Knights armament military ones have a metal clip on one end that holds them in place (design to fit a metal rail) so I had to open up the notch on each rail a bit with a dremel and exacto knife for the clips to snap into place.
