What aftermarket trigger are you using in your 15-22?
Are you using a single or 2 stage.
Looking at a CMC flat trigger.
Thanks.

Hiperfire 24C
Single stage,
User pull adjustable to 2/3/4lb,
Straight blade trigger,
Heavy hammer fall (made like a compound bow, excellent for 22lr primers)
Love it!

Yeah two piece drop in unit, easy install. The pull is adjusted by swapping the extra set of toggle springs on this unique designed trigger. The lightened trigger pull does not effect the hammer fall energy which is enough to probably break a finger

Went with a CMC 3.5 lb flat faced trigger. I must say, I've never had a light primer strike with this trigger system.

Geissele SD-3G and SD-C. Both installed with Colt 901 pins and Geissele Hi-Speed National Match: Match trigger springs.

I have used CMC triggers, Velocity, Elftman and ALG Defense ACT.
I have settled on the CMC in my Performance center version and the ALG ACT in all my other ones for firing pin longevity. The Elftman and Velocity are in a center fire builds.

How do you find the Velocity? I have just ordered a 3lb curved to drop into my 15-22. (I realise that you have yours in your centre fire).

I have just done my pre season FCG cleaning and the unit was rather clean, no grit or debris in the mechanisms of the Hiperfire 24C, while doing so i decided that i am going to shoot this season without the 'shoe' and just the flat trigger blade, after a few dry fires the trigger feels even better, almost crisper and lighter. I'll be putting it through its paces tonight...I think i like my triggers flat and my women curvy

Anyone know the grip hex nut size? I understand it has to be loosened to remove the safety when installing the CMC trigger.

I have the 4lb (for steel) version and really like it. Only reason I removed if from my 15-22 was it was not hitting the firing pin square causing the firing pin to break after 18,000 rounds. When you shoot about 1800 rounds a week thru a 15-22 that adds up to a lot of firing pins that are hard to get sometimes.
On a side note, make sure you get the steel shim that goes in between the trigger housing and lower receiver. The tension screws will dig into the plastic if you don't.

Velocity has them as well as most of the other cassette type trigger makers that use tension screws.
