I'm so happy to report that replacing the firing pin spring on my stock 15-22, circa 2015, with blue recoil spring fixed my failure to fire / light strikes that occurred about once every 25 rounds.
I used the McMaster-Carr Part #:9663K13 spring cut to 1.5 times the length of the stock spring. My crude test with a 1000g scale indicated the OEM required 12 ounces of pressure before the firing pin would compress enough to touch the scale plate. The McMaster at the 1.5x length required 9 ounces of pressure.
I thought the Hillman #9 spring was to large in diameter where it rubbed the bolt channel and to light at 6 ounces to use with my stock hammer.
I test fired 150 rounds Federal Auto Match at the speed you see in the video with ZERO issues. I am one happy camper
