This two piece set from Hera Arms. The CQR stock, I like! Not sure if this would work with the 15-22 tube, could anyone confirm?

This is my rifle? There are many like it? No way! It's ugly and stupid looking. How are you going to use it as a weapon when you run out of ammunition? Throw it at them like the brick it looks like?
Semper Fi. Where's my M16?

Can't say it would float my boat.

Looks like they made an SBR to then try and make it longer with the butt extension pads.

If I lived in a country that permitted ownership then I think either a P90 or Tavor would both do same thing in a slightly different way.

Just my opinion, but given the multitude of different platforms and styles available, there are many options out there that work and look a lot nicer than that one.

It's different....

The butt stock portion is being used by a lot of folks in Kalifornia to rid their rifle of "evil" features.

And I hate the sound loudener contraption on the muzzle.

Is the "recoil" of a .223 really so overwhelming?

Talk about "compensator." Anybody shooting .223 who thinks everybody on the firing line needs to have their fillings rattled by that contrived amplifier must be compensating for something.

I was shooting prone at a range recently where the match director allowed a shooter to compete with one of those things on his muzzle. Not only did the side-blast slap shooters in the face on both sides with each shot, the darn thing even lifted bits of gravel and sandblasted the shooters on both sides during the prone phase.

Next time, I'm calling a safety violation on one of those things.
If you are so proud that it was "designed for a suppressor," then put the darn suppressor on it, and quit trying to blind everybody on either side of you!

Just to clarify, is this made to comply with some states' ridiculous rules?

Made to comply with Cali rules for a bullet button, apparently with this "Featurless" stock you can go back to your normal magazine release on your AR or M4.

I don't know, but I've been told that this one was designed by a committee of California politicians...

Depends on how you're using it.

For high power, no. Here, "rapid fire," means 10 rounds in 60 seconds. A brake with these time constraints and tight shooting quarters is obnoxious and pretty unnecessary.

For 3 Gun, yes. Here, "rapid fire," might mean putting 32 rounds onto 16 paper targets in the fewest number of seconds possible, making any muzzle rise a slowing factor. A brake is absolutely necessary if you want to be competitive (don't we all?) and since you're shooting solo, only the RO is effected.

Likewise. A young man came out this weekend with his Barrett in 5.56 and had that same muzzle brake on it.

People were RUNNING from the firing line!
