I started with one like the red one pictured. But it was actually faster to simply load without anything, one round at a time.
Then I found the McFadden Lightning Loader. Nothing else compares! You wouldn't believe me if I told you how fast it is. And they are ALWAYS correctly staggered for proper feeding. It costs more but it's worth every single penny.

The McFadden is a thing of great wonderment. I am often asked what I am doing at the range with it, a demonstration creates a convert straight away.

+1 for the McFadden. You can literally load 'em as fast as you can shoot 'em. A bargain at twice the price!

Thumbs up McFadden is the BEST thing since Sliced Bread!

Every time I use my McFadden at the range I end up having to do a demonstration for others. I could have sold a couple dozen of them with no problem. Wouldn't trade mine for anything!

Default McFadden is the best

With the McFadden, I can almost load them as fast as my son shoot them. With out it, I'd have to come up with some way to slow him down!

Plus the range I shoot at is a by-the-hour rental, so loading faster means more bang-bang time.

The only down side to the McFadden loader for me is the amount of ammo I have to buy to keep up with it. It works totally different but I also have a McFadden loader for my Ruger MKII and MKIV. With my old hands shooting would not be half as much fun without my loaders.
