Default 10 Year Anniversary

Well, yesterday was the 10th Anniversary to the day, that I had a surprise set of 3 Heart Attacks.

Definitely not what I expected just a few days after my 37th birthday ...

What did I choose to do to celebrate ? I hear you ask.

I took a trip out with some of my favourite things to my local range and spent the day shooting the snot outta just about every firearm that I own.

Shared some quality time with my range buddies and chewed through my total holdings of .22, 9mm and 5.56 while I was at it.

My pimped out Smith SBR took one hell of a beating, but performed flawlessly through about 3500 rounds, thank goodness for 10 mags and the MacFadden.

What fun that was.

After such fun, was there anything else to do?

Well of course, there was the round of fun putting my 2 young boys (6 & 7) to bed with the usual hugs and snuggles before taking my hon out for a meal and some quality us time.

All round a great day in every way.

The aftermath of such fun????

Way too much brass to deprime, clean and then think of sitting and reloading.... and of course the trip to the shop to buy some more .22

What the heck..... can't take it with so definitely should enjoy it....

Rob

Glad to hear your still with us. I recently celebrated 8 yrs. of survival of a heart attack and a quintuple bypass so I totally understand. I too spent a day at the range with my best buddy. I've learned to enjoy life every day and not sweat the small things in life.

As good a way to celebrate as any! Great work!

Was a good day.

Me happy,

Kids happy,

Wife happy,

All Guns nice and warm at end of sessions.

Smith was clean at start of it. Gave the bolt and rails a wipe at around 1800-2000 and a couple drops of lube on rails.

Then a proper dig out next day. Proper dirty lil girl she was after such a session.
