Default M & P 15-22

Can you purchase just the magpul handguard and do a simple switch?

I have read some about modifying and would prefer to not do that.

Thanks,
Russ

Short answer is no. I will meet a set of tools like the package in the links below.

S&W M&P15-22 Free-Float Handguard Kit (Mod Required).

S&W M&P15-22 Free-Float Handguard Kit

Not endorsing this vendor, I know nothing about them one way or the other.

Modify it or don't
Modified vs standard (with magpul 2 piece hand guard)

Default handguard

Thanks for the info. I am still on the fence about this. I may end up with another rifle. Not a bad thing I guess.
