Default Break in

Hi all, New to the forum. Just purchased a MP 22 and was wondering what is the recommended break in procedure. My .223 AR was fire 100 rounds then clean and then do the fine tuning for sighting in. If this was answered in another thread , forgive me I just didn't do a search. It's hot outside and I'm feelin' lazy. Thanks in advance for any responses. - Kevin

Just clean it lube very lightly with a clp, dry patch the bore and shoot the hell out of it. Clean and lube lightly when finished. Break in will happen no matter how you do it. .22 's shot with coated lead bullets might take 10 times as many rounds to break in a barrel as your .223 with jacketed bullets did. The cheaper the barrel the more rounds it will take to smooth it out inside. What will help it out is some Iosso bore paste on a tight fitting patch to polish it up.
