Default 15-22 Performance Center targets various ammo

Put the 16X scope on my new S&W 15-22 Performance Center and sandbag in the outfit to see what results different ammo and rifle combo can come up with. Quite the surprise. All targets shot at 50 yards. 18" barrel, match chamber and barrel.

Aguila Super Extra High Velocity:

Eley Club:

Eley Edge:

Eley High Velocity Hollow Point (I will say the hollow point is one of the cleanest holes I have seen in .22 LR ammo.

Eley Tenex. I got this at Cabela's the other day, on sale for $19.99 box of 50. VERY well made ammo.

Federal 38gr Bulk Pack - 275 count:

Now, the real surprise!! Winchester 36gr Hollow Point 333 bulk pack 1280 fps.

Perhaps I just picked the right 5... or the trigger pull was just right. But the Winchester was exceptional out of "this" rifle. What ever the reason this particular PERFORMANCE CENTER model 15-22 did very well with all the ammunition, and Eley Tenex and Winchester 333 were clearly the best group.

First time out with my Performance Center 15-22, I was pretty impressed. My optic is a 5x Burris AR-536, and I was shooting the CCI AR Tactical stuff. Only a few FTE errors on a straight out of the box rifle.

These were at 50 yards. Top row is 5 shots and bottom is 10 shot groups. I also brought my Caldwell rimfire steel target rig with 5 2" paddles. Never missed. Loads of fun.

These little .22s are a blast and have excellent utility against the right targets. Definitely one of my favorites regardless of caliber. I pretty much emulate what ya'll have done with my Venom 3moa reflex at 50 meters. I can only imagine how much fun it is with a variable scope. Fine shooting men.
