Cool Custom 3D Printed Safety Selector

I decided the other week that I wanted a metal safety selector switch, and since I couldn't find any I decided to make my own! What do you think?

I have a few more refinements to make to what's in the pictures here but what's important is it works! Would anyone else be interested in buying one if I made them available? I will probably create a few different ones with different switches and materials if anyone is interested or has ideas.

That's a great looking piece! What grip is that you have on there?

I put a battle arms development (metal) ambi safety in mine. I don't recall it being specifically made for the 15-22. It's an ar15 part. Options for long or short levers also but it's somewhat pricey. Good to see people making custom parts for this rifle.

always looking for something different and unique for my 15-22; let us know pricing, and I'm sure they'll be more than a few ordered from ya!

I have added in spots for the safety detent on both sides so that it is reversible for left handed shooters and made a couple of different designs. I am testing it out now, and I will update the thread again once it is available!

If it works, it is the 15-22 specific part. An AR selecter switch will bind and will not move if installed on a 15-22. The 15-22 receiver is slightly wider than an AR receiver.

If anyone wants one, I have created store pages for a Diamond and Basic style safety. They are available in

Plastic - $7
(White, Blue, Purple, Red, Pink, Yellow, Green Orange)

Sintered Steel - $20-$25
(Matte Black, Polished Grey, Polished Nickel, Matte Bronze, Polished Bronze, Matte Gold, Polished Gold, Stainless)

Cast Metal - $40-$53
(Raw Bronze, Polished Bronze, Raw Brass, Polished Brass, Raw Aluminum)

It really goes without saying, but never point a gun at something you don't intend to shoot regardless of your what your safety is set to. Please understand these are 3D printed and I cannot guarantee them.

I've ordered a few and they work fine though.

I'd like a plastic diamond safety in orange, but I didn't see that option available on the sale page (or maybe I'm just blind lol)
