Default Please close -Request ID of this AR 22 LR Conversion Kit - FL

Please close - I picked up this conversion kit thinking it was made by Spikes. I sent it to them for evaluation and the shop returned it to me saying it was not their product but included a couple of recoil springs and a firing pin.

Is this a S&W product? If not, My question to the experts on this form is who manufactured this kit and is it complete? Respectfully, Bill

It's definitely not a S&W product.

Looks like an old Ciener type unit with a Taccom barrel collar. Its for a dedicated 22lr barrelled upper. A lot of folks copied the Ciener design with slight differences. (CMMG, Spikes, Core etc..)

I can't tell who actually package the unit as theirs, but it's an older one. If you have the barrel you could build an upper.

Default Photo of feed ramp

Thank you CJT50. That is much more than I knew. Here is a close-up of the feed ramp on the barrel collar. Bill
