Yes, I had them in mine before I swapped my FCG...I only used the trigger spring though, when the hammer spring was used I was getting a few lightstrikes. Improved on the factory weight and feel. Nice cheap upgrade.

Not a S&W 15-22 but a JP trigger spring set made a big difference in a AR I have.

Yes, they yielded a roughly 4lb trigger and light strikes haven't materialized.

They work great in my more budget friendly builds. IMHO the best bang for the buck yet great performing trigger system is the PSA EPT trigger with JP springs.

Default JP trigger

I have used JP yellow springs in many AR's, but never in a .22lr, I think you will get light strikes as a rimfire generally needs a harder strike to fire than centerfire. A Velocity replacement may be a better option, but will set you back $135.00. They feel as good as a Timney at half the price. 3lbs clean as ice.

The JP's may work though, may only be able to use trigger spring but not hammer spring, but is a small gamble, but wont lose much!

Also JP has a red spring option, for SD purposes, not quite as light, maybe 5lbs for red and 4 lbs for yellow

Good luck

I changed the factory springs to the yellow springs from JP. At the same time i polished the very rough surfaces in the trigger system. Shot several 1000 CCI standard with no hickups at all.
Best low cost tune-up imo.

I put in a JP trigger. The yellow hammer spring gave light strikes. I swapped it out for the red hammer spring and no further issues.

Only talking 22 rim fire here:

The Velocity / Timney often generates light strikes. Yellow JP hammer spring often gives too light strikes.

Drop in triggers that most people have good experience with is the hiperfire and CMC.
Also polishing and just change the trigger spring to JP yellow (keep original or use red JP for hammer spring) will be safe to do.

I put the red/yellow kit in and ran 60 rounds thru. No issues and a much nicer trigger.

I had varying success with the JP spring kit. Worked best in my LMTMWS. Trigger pull ~ 3lbs. Others meh. Never used the hammer springs. Eventually switched all except the LMTMWS to a Geissele SSA-E. But I'm picky when it comes to trigger pull.

I recently installed the Enhanced reliability spring kit ( 1-Red 1- Yellow) in my 15-22 and it cut the trigger weight in half. I love it. I recently installed a volquartson extractor at the same time as the spring kit and man all my FTE problems were fixed. I ran 500 rounds through with no FTE and with the new trigger it just made the day that much better. No light strikes at all. Hope this helps.
