Default Replacing fixed plastic buffer tube

Hello all,

Has anyone managed to replace the fixed plastic buffer tube with some kind of adaptor that lets you use a regular buffer tube?

I've seen a video of someone adding an adaptor to a pistol version of a 15-22 which allows it, but i'm curious if anyones managed to do it with a rifle version, and how it was done?

I'm wanting to add this stock to my gun;

I would love a replacement for the fixed stock.

I would replace it with a folder. I would think that a lot of folks would

I am wondering how hacking off the fixed tube and replacing with a removable one would effect the UK legal length limit requirement? Interesting.

1: replacing the "buffer tube" is not for the faint of heart.
2: with a plethora of replacement stocks that simply slip on the existing extension, why would you spend $400 for something that requires you to butcher your firearm?

It's really not that big a deal or trouble. The tube is hollow into the lower. Chop it and glue/pin in a plug. Anything can be attached to the plug. An AR stock adapter if you wish.

That is basically the way S&W did their 15-22 pistols and the way I did my folder SBR.
