I've been thinking about one of these for a long time. I live in Ohio and haven't seen one in forever. Are there any left and if one would be found would you have to give up your first born? Why did Smith stop making them? Same reason they think that internal locks on revolvers are a good? Just brain dead?

I used to lust after a 15-22p; but now Tippmann Arms is making an AR-15 type pistol in 22lr and I fed my obsession with one of these.

Its fun, but my ammo budget took a big hit because of it.

Love my 15-22P, especially suppressed. Have no idea why they stopped making them. They tend to be pricey if you can find one.

Hello friends I'm super new to this so forgive me if i do something wrong. i recently purchased a M&P 15-22 Pistol. I have decided to get the double tap binary trigger witch functioned well the first mag. After I reloaded the second mag my pistol kept firing on the pull ejecting the round chambering the next round but fails to reset hammer on the release. So when I let go of the trigger and nothing happens. No click no strike. I started by replacing trigger & hammer pins with anti walk pins. No help at all. I cleaned and lubed up the thing and still the same problem. Any suggestions would be awesome. I'm at a loss Thanks
