You would have to go with a barrel adapter, they clamp on to your barrel and the other side is theaded to install your flash suppressor. When Im on my computer at home and not at work ill post some sites that have them.

I preferred a one piece slip on flash hider as I don't intend to change it. I found a nice one here:

M&P-15 22 accessories
Thanks for your suggestions. By the time I have all the accessories that I THINK I need, the cost will be more than I anticipated....but look at all the fun I'm having?

"IM" Bret248Vista here or go to you tube and see his tacticle scope videos. He has the NC Star rig you are asking about. The price is right inline from what Ive seen everywhere. I would say its a average price.

I have that scope/red-dot combo. I've only used it for plinking at the range out to 100yds, but I've been very pleased with it. The red-dot basically just sits on top of the scope, no co-witness between them. I have the red dot zeroed in at 25 yds and the scope at 100yds. For me the red dot isn't much use past that (covers too much of the target), but the scope reaches out to 100 yds nicely.
My only "complaint" would be that with the red-dot sitting on top of the scope it seems like it would be easy to get snagged on something and break off. Also, the on/off switch for the red-dot seems pretty flimsy. Not a deal-breaker for me, just fyi.
I think Amazon has a better price: Amazon.com: Mark III Tactical Mil-Dot 3-9X42/Scope Adaptor Mount/Red Dot Combo Package: Electronics
(not sure if I can post a link or not - if that didn't come through just search on amazon for "Mark III Tactical Mil-Dot 3-9X42/Scope Adaptor Mount/Red Dot Combo". Note that the picture they have for it does not show the red-dot, but it does come with the combo.

I agree. That's where I got mine. For the price it's a pretty sweet setup.
BTW the red dot is detachable if desired and I really like the lever lock mounting system that this scope has.

Can this mark III be put on a cantilever mount. I seen some scopes in the pic thread with a cantilevered mount, what scopes are those by chance?

Flashlight Mod.....what was i waiting for? I got a BSA (dont laff) high quality light and laser combo. model LLS. Check the reviews-its a very durable set up. It can go on a scope or separately to the AR rails. Wow! I got the light on and went outside in the dark. The light is amazing, and looking through the red dot or co-witnessing through it was astonishing. I could pinpoint a shot at any varmint with such ease. Best accessory to date. Note: I put the laser on my AK-47 because it is better quality then what I had on there. Really got some bang for the buck. I have no use for the scope mount hardware but it will go in the parts drawer, I'll use it for sumthin'

Hello Howard, just wanted to give you my 2 cents on flash suppressors. I to like you wanted to install one of these on my 15/22 but found the cost for just adding something cosmetic a little much. I looked around at a lot of different add on's that I could dress up the barrel of my 15/22 with and came across this slick little item that slips onto the barrel & attaches with a brass set screw. It is a ventilated barrel shroud from Moerse Lekker at Moerse Lekker Sales at Moerse Lekker Sales, LLC. It ran me $55 shipped. Hope this helps.

magpul make a nice rail virtical grip (RVG) that stays solid with a storage comp part#mag412-blk, and galco (slc-b) has a slc strap that works well for me,no need to buy rings, this one loops throw slot in stock and clips to sling loop at bottom,

Flash hiders are OK, but for looks a barrel shroud is the best bang for the buck. Pun intended.

I am debating on flash suppressor or shroud for my fun gun. Your pic looks different than what is seen on the url link. Can I assume what you are showing is what is delivered or am I missing something? I dont like surprises...lol

Yes, you can. I used to have one on my 15-22, but replaced it with a scope.

Also searching for a scope for the gun, but I am not sure if that's even the right terminology. I see the normal, long, rifle scopes on OpticsPlanet, but also the red dot, reflex, and shorter scopes. Any guidance for a beginner buy would be great. Looking to spend around $200 for one.
Thanks!

Great products (mil specs) so expect to pay a premium...
Got some accessories for my PPQ and very happy!

Has anyone used the Smith & Wesson Flashlights Miniature Weapon Mounted Light on the 15-22? It apparently is made for handguns, but would it be bright enough for indoor use?

90 Lumen "Out the Bezel" Blinding Light

Bwahaahahahahahahah.
Blinding? Even the 600 lumens from my TNVC G2 conversion doesn't blind anything.
That being said it is rated at 90 lumens, which is more than the original 6P's 60, so it will work. I use a 110 lumen on my 15-22 because I don't need a real light on mine. 110 works for indoor and shade so the 90 shouldn't be too bad.
I'm not sure the mounting system will work on a picitiny rail though.
