Default Newbie Question on M&P 9

I own a M&P 45c - for me, the grip is pretty near perfect, although a touch large (even with the small insert).

My question for those of you who own a M&P 45c and a M&P 9/9c --- is the grip of the M&P 9 (and 9c) smaller around than the M&P 45? (assuming both have the same insert installed, small or large, respectively).

I'd be okay if the 9 (and 9c) is a bit smaller in circumference -- in fact, that might just make me hunt one down to buy it.

Thanks

I've only handled the .45 a couple of times, but I believe its grip is slightly larger than the 9/40/357 models.

The .45 is on a completely different frame due to the size of the cartridge. The frame for the 9/.40/.357 Sig is the same for all and the trigger is generally better/lighter. I've only handled one compact (.40) and it had a different backstrap than I usually use. Didn't like the feel.

Love my full size 9!
