Default M&P 22 conversion

Does anyone make a 22 conversion kit for the M&P? I am thinking one would be very nice to have. Thanks
Dave

No one makes one at the time, several companies are said to be working on a kit but most of these companies have claimed to be working on it for a few years now so if it is happening it is very back burner.

It amazes me that the sales department of S&W has not figured out that they could sell a 22 conversion kit for about the same price as a S&W 22 or even more. If they were smart they would offer a 22 conversion kit at the time they introduced a new semi auto. While there are several manufacturers of 22 conversion kits for 1911's and Glock's there are none to date for the S&W M&P's. The conversion units sell from ca $200 to $450 depending on the manufacturer and their characteristics.

S&W is working on a .22 pistol and or slide, but who knows when it will come out.

Tactical Solutions is also working on a conversion and maybe we will see it at Shot Show.

Not sure if you've seen the 20101 S&W catalog, but there are 8 versions of the Model 22A in it. And there are 2 versions of the Model 41. All of these pistols shoot 22LR.

True, But none of them have an M&P grip frame or trigger system.
