Thinking about a M&P 40

Hello I posted a few months ago about the same topic but now I am ready to purchase, so I am thinking about a 40 compact to go along with my PPQ 9mm. Is there anything I should know about the gun . I am not going to lie its between an M&P or an XDM compact 40 or 45 acp. The only thing the Springfield had going is the fact it comes in 45. I know M&P is a better all round gun. But is there anyone on here that has both? Thanks

M&P comes in 45 too. I've seen a comparison chart of the M&P with the Glock and XDs and the M&P is the right choice.

I'm thinking about the same gun. I had an XP, and found the barrel axis was too high. Just me, but I really like the M&P.
