An easy way to read text with problems like this is to highlight the text by dragging the mouse cursor across the text while holding the left mouse button down. This is an old trick.

Well, if he is not talking about brass than it appears to be pretty inappropriate.

Ya can't teach a dog old tricks.
I'm on an I pad most of the time and that doesn't work.

Did I get a "bad" gun? Has anyone else had any similar problems?
You have got to change your font color - it is difficult to read on this Forum.

I posted a thread on this same subject but since I'm not a girl, no one responded. haha. My M&P 9 is doing the same thing after I sent it in. I called and told them the issue is continuing so I have to send it back for a 2nd time. We'll see if it gets fixed.

I'm RH trigger, Left eye, which probably makes the problem worse by rotating the ejector a few degrees toward me.. have had brass shower me on the forehead and had one bounce down through my glasses...took to wearing better safety glasses and a hat with a brim...also use the flying brass to train on staying "sight-focused" no matter what's happening around me. Am interested to hear if there are any remedies from S&W or here, like the mention of different spring. Used Winchester, Blazer, Magtec 115g.. all the same.

Since the original post was in 2010 and the poster hasn't been around since 2011 I doubt she'll change her font color or give rat's about the joke.

Took my wife to the range today to shoot her new 9c. She too had the brass hitting her on her head, face and chest. I thought it was her grip but the gun did the same to me, and she did not have the problem shooting my 40fs. I am going back tomorrow to put some more rounds through it to see if it corrects with use or if it is going to be one of those guns. We have 3 mags for it and it did not make a difference changing those. Only had white box Winchester 115gr, I will try Remington ammo in the morning too.

My FS 9mm did that at first too. The one that went down my shirt and got caught in my bra was an "owie!" and left quite the blister. Concentrating on my grip and wrists and putting lots of rounds through it (with some hotter ammo in the mix) and it hasn't happened since month one.

Not saying some guns aren't lemons, but that's my personal experience.

My wife went with her friend to the range. She had one go down her bra while shooting her friends Glock. Got hit in the face some too..... she didn't like the one down the bra...
