I have the 40c no laser. It is a natural pointer so if you are even decent shooting you will be fine. Qualified with mine after only shooting 30 rounds through it. Shot 98%. Shoot it first with no laser, then when you are ok with it and know where you are shooting use the laser. this way you know if the laser is off or you. Then practice practice practice.

I have a laser on mine.
It will help you with trigger control, because you can see it move when you pull it!

I shoot this with out laser and I know shot very nice, the laser is just for night use and especially will help anyone if your shooting targets on the move.
