MP9. Love the handling of this carry pistol. I like the idea of the ambidextrous safety, but hate the size of the thing. I will keep one in the chamber so I want the thumb safety for the safe handling thing is desired, but the size of that safety switch makes the width of the MP9 about ½ + inch wider. The take down and the locking switches are fine. With the thumb lever a little smaller I feel it will be just as safe, (maybe a little safer for the pocket carry in holster). Can I file down the thumb switch to be about a 1/2 or 1/4 the current size on the left side of the pistol and almost remove the right side? Will it void the warranty? Or should I leave good enough alone?
