Another poster advised changing batteries every 6 mos, and I would add, especially if you CCW whenever you go out, which I do. I often find myself inadvertantly activating the laser for about a second whenever I'm putting on or taking off my IWB holster. I also (safely) practice drawing and pointing my pistol/laser several times a week. I doubt that this will add up to 4 hrs/240 minutes/14,400 secs of laser time, but...
I'm not sure where you've checked prices, but I got mine for $217 (retail: $329), plus $11 shipping from:
https://www.manventureoutpost.com/lo...hp%3Faction%3D. My understanding is that these authorized e-dealers place your order, then they are dropped shipped to the buyer directly from CTC.
Also, CTC offers FREE, yes I said FREE, batteries every year, for life of grip/gun.

One last thing about CTC. I "lost" one (of 2) of the allen wrenches that are provided with the unit and when I called their customer service, they sent me 6 more...FREE.
