Default 22LR Conversion

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I am on a Blackberry instead of a computer and searching threads is harder. Does anyone know of a kit for M&P's that might be coming out? I figure it is just a matter of time. It is too popular of a pistol not to have conversion kits made for it. Thanks.

Default M&P 22 pistol

I haven't found a conversion yet but I did find info on M&P-Pistol.com about a S&W M&P22 22lr pistol that's expected out early next year.
S&W M&P22 22LR 4.1 10R BL/BLK $364.00 SHIPS FREE

Here's a thread on another site about this new pistol:

I got to go to the NRA show last year and talked to one of the S&W reps. I asked about a M&P .22 handgun and the likelyhood of it happening. The rep said that he thought it would be a good idea, but that it wouldn't be happening anytime soon.

I know that they can't give away info on products they are working on developing, but still......

I will probably have to buy one of these to go along with my M&P 15-22. And that will probably lead to a M&P in .45 which will lead to an M&P 15, which will lead to.......Oh boy it never ends does it!

Thanks for the replies. I remember sending an email to Tactical Solutions (memory is foggy on this) after hearing that they would be coming out with a kit this year. They apologized for the mis-information and told me that there were no plans for building a kit anytime soon. I see that Walther will be manufacturing the gun in the links. I am sure it will be fine quality. I think howevver, that I will wait on a conversion from somebody. Someday I'd like to get a 4" barrel K-22 as well.

I have been repeatedly urging Tactical Solutions to come out with a 22 conversion unit for the S&W M&P. They are currently working on the Glock conversion units and have not given any thought to a S&W M&P conversion unit.
