Default 9 Pro PC sear vs. Apex hard sear

I'm curious, are there any significant differences between the 9 Pro PC sear and the Apex hard sear or are they basically different versions of the same thing? People seem to be fairly satisfied with the Pro trigger, so I don't imagine many have replaced the sear with an Apex one, but if you have, did you notice much of a change?

When I bought the Pro 9mm I did not know the difference between the Pro and the L. I should have bought the L model. But could not find one. I put the Apex sear and striker block in immediately after getting the Pro. The trigger pull was 5.5 lbs before and 4.5 lbs after. After about 2k rounds, the trigger is just under 4 lbs. I assume the performance center sear would have improved with time.

I first had a M&P 45 acp that I put in the Apex sear and striker block. It went from a 7.5 lb trigger to a 4 lb trigger.

I have replaced the Pro factory sight with Dawson adjustable rear sight and FO front. I kept hitting low with the factory sight. Definitely should have gotten the L model.

Originally I was planning on the 9L too, but then I found the 5" 9 Pro at a local shop for less than the 9L at another shop. The S&W web site currently has the price higher for the 9L than the Pro now too. Go figure. It was a no brainer to choose the Pro.

I have Apex sears in all of my M&Ps, much less take up and reset qualities.
I put a flat faced forward sear kit in the 9 pro, WOW!
The shield and 9c have polymer triggers and the carry kit put in, much more enjoyable to shoot!
