Default Laser Sights for S&W M&P 9C

I'm leaning toward laser sights on my M&P 9C, largely due to
my increasing difficulty in focusing with conventional sights.
CT seems to be the preferable choice and is clearly the most
holster friendly. My 9C has the ambidextrous safety so it will
require cutting off the right side pad but that appears to be a
an easy accommodation.

Any comments on the laser sight and the Crimson Trace in
particular relative to the above application would be appreciated.

Mark

I just purchased a used M&P 40c equipped with the CT laser grips. They work very well, and I'm well pleased. I don't think my M&P was shot very much, if at all by the previous owner(s), and the sights and laser shot to POA right out of the box. My M&P does not have the safety, so I cannot speak to that, but I like the accessibility of the on/off switch, and the slimness of the unit itself.

Best of luck,

Dave

The Insight Technologies "X2L" model light & laser fits on the M&P compact's front rail perfectly. I prefer this to the CT laser since I like the stock grip just the way it comes from S&W.
