Decided I need to practice my coloring!!!
Also visit a Glock site and noticed that people were coloring the logos and things on their pistols. Thought I would take a shot at it. Here are the results.

I did my guns with white nail polish but am looking for some gold nail polish but there is little on the market, plus I feel kind of funny looking at all the nail polish displays!
But it is fast and easy (about 5 minutes per gun).
(1) Take a Q-tip and isopropyl alcohol and degrease the area you want to paint.
(2) Take a nail polish of your choosing and apply liberally making certain you fill all the voids with the polish.
(3) Take non-acetone nail polish remover and remove the excess paint.
(4) Carefully inspect you gun and see if you need to repeat steps 2 and 3.
I also paint the magazines as well as the round count at the witness holes, it makes it easier for me to know which magazine I am about to use, and I have several; 4 for my M&P9FS, 5 for my M&P40C, 6 for my S&W Model59, 5 for my Glock26 Sub Compact 9mm and 3 for my Kel-TecPF9!

Yes, I am thinking of removing it and using a grey or red. White is awful bright.

I really like this look, did it with my poly framed Judge and it looks great. The white is sort of bright though, I might go for a green or maybe desert tan color.

Now that is different and pretty cool! I guess that would be the Zombie Hunter version.

I like the look, but how durable is the crayon treatment? I mean, when you fire the pistol and the slide gets hot, does the wax melt out? Or, when you clean the slide, does the cleaner dissolve it? (The wax, I mean...not the slide. If your cleaner dissolves the slide, you might want to switch to something else...)

As far as the crayon goes for me, it mostly all stays there, I have touched it up a few times, but its just a quick rub of the crayon and then a wipe. I may go the nailpolish route someday but the crayon is cheap and easy and easily changed or removed.

I'm with cactus-jack on this one. This color-fill stuff is one of my least favorite mods. I've even passd over guns for sale because the rollmarks had been filled in. I know it's removeable, but to me, it's just not worth the time/effort.
But hey, it's your gun. Decorate it to your heart's content.

It definitely is a personal preference sort of thing. It's like those guys that camo paint their whole pistol or rifle, personally I think it's ugly. It can be done right IMO but most people just spray the whole thing with camo.
