Shield is a combat site picture. You are likely jerking the trigger or anticipating recoil causing you to be low. I do the same with my friends Shield but with my 40c I have no issues. Try shooting from a rest. Also you can have snap caps put in the magazine during your next outing to have a visual indicator of what you are doing.
I like the holster. The CF look appearance of the kydex is nice.

Im sorry. Im not an expert at all. Ive seen a chart in the class I took years ago that showed a #1 #2 #3 site picture but I dont remember names. Is the combat site picture one of these? I tend to use #2. If yes which one? Im gonna go search out combat site picture now anyhow. Hey. Thanks for the nice words and the help.

Site picture #3. Essentially aiming at the top of the target circle.

How do you folks get the white outlining? What do use and how do you keep it in the lines.
I never could color in the lines and now that I am old and shake I don't think I could do something so tedious.

Nail polish. You just paint over the whole logo then wipe up with NON-ACETONE nail polish remover. Wipe lightly so you don't remove the paint in the engravings. Check YouTube.

Thank you. I think I want to attempt this. Does it wear well or is it short lived?

Also, as a more temporary application if you are doubtful you can smash a crayon in there. I did this on my Saiga for the "Made in Russia" so see if I'd like it before I went with paint.
Obligatory picture...

Here is my current M&P 9 full size in A-TACS FG Gunskin camo.
And my most recent acquisition, an M&P 45 full size.
Love those M&P pistols.

It's a PJ Holster I waited 3 months for. I also ordered a Cook's holster which is the same material and design. Best part about Cooks is 2 week delivery time. Paul is 3 months back logged with his orders.

Nope, a normal model. The trigger is just super spongy. No mag disconnect or safety either. Figured I'd give it a try, but now I'm fairly sure I'm just going to sell/trade it in for a Glock and leave my S&W pile a revolvers only show.

Galco "King Tuk" #G139HO
I didn't like how they didn't make a channel for the front sight all the way out.. Fixed that! with a razor and a file. Just so you guys know, I did not lose any retention on the gun, it's still very snug but draws much easier.. I don't feel like I'm gonna lose my front sight anymore! that was weird, But for $55 I didn't want to pass

...Yeah I slipped with the razor while cutting across lol, and no I didn't cut myself. It's kinda ugly, but I'll live with it! I might file it a little more though

Its the 45 full size. Honestly if it was a 9L Id definitely buy the apex parts. I just don't know if I'll shoot enough 45 to justify another $100.

@ waffles
Just as you have to do some after market changes to make a Glock work at it's best.
You need to put in a Apex Trigger kit in your M&P - it fixes all you trigger problems .
Your new gun is a jewel - it just needs to be tuned.
It will feel better in your hands (hence shoot better) than 90 % of the guns on the market.
I personally have gotten rid of all my Glocks - except my G34 - in favor of the M&P line
JMHO
Good luck

Second and third this! I regretted my 40c purchase after my first time at the range. Put a APEX DCAEK in it and now I LOVE the gun. Great shooter. I am already planning my next M&P and an APEX kit will be on order the day before I go and buy it, LOL!

Yes, minimum 10lbs on the M&P. I have like 8 of them and installed the APEX kit in them. My M&P45fs is about one of the best shooters I have..

Non acetone nail polish remover, nail polish, and some gentle rubbing. You can do any color you want. I did an OD green.
Do a search for color fill and it should come up with all the steps. Takes almost no time or effort to get great results.

If you go to "You Tube" on the internet
Search for "color gun lettering"
It will show you several different ways to do different guns
