M&P9c, my very first gun. Hope i made the right choice
Brand spankin' new (test fired on April 4th). I haven't even shot the gun yet. Here are some glamour shots:
In case you were wondering, I used the Bonanza gold filling kit on the engravings.

Nice!! This is a long way from the crayon detailing over in the M&P15-22 forum! And the slide looks exceptionally dark and lovely -- is that natural or did it get a paint job, too?

It had gotten a temporary semi-shine gloss because I had just used a Silicon cloth on it before taking the picture. The oil from the silicon cloth makes the slide appear darker. Aside from the gold fill, it really looks no different than any of the black M&P's in this thread.
Aside from that, its really the lighting that makes the difference. I used a pocket flash light shining on a white background which diffuses the light at an angle to highlight the shape of the gun.

Mkygod it looks like you armoralled it. Nice looking gun. I have the full size 40 and it is one of my favorite handguns. I'm gonna try the silicon towel.

I was thinking of doing the gold and man, you might have sealed the deal for me to do it. Looks gorgeous. Where did you get the filling stuff from?

The Bonanza Gold fill is readily available from brownells.com
Word of advice, It can get a bit messy, so take down the slide and work on it by itself. And also, use masking tape on areas where you don't want gold fill to spread to. You definitely don't want any of this to get on the slide serrations or other crevices on the slide because its kindve a bitch to get out.

With all due respect. It looks like it belongs in a glass case and not at the range. Too ostentatious. Too pretty.

James Bond often wore a tuxedo and was just as deadly with his S&W. The Walther PPK was only one of the guns he used, albeit the most renowned. I think it is quite striking and expresses your individualism.
I am a new member who is expecting delivery of a pre-owned M&P Pro 9mm. Currently shooting a Sig P229 E2. Looking forward to delivery of the new (to me) gun and learning more about it and S&W from all of you.

My most recent M&P. A 4.25 pro sporting a Thompson Machine Poseidon. It got traded away a few months back on a new revolver, but ill get another. My curse is that ive had 4 M&Ps (a regular 9mm, a spec-ops, a pro 5" and a pro 4.25) and always find these killer deals where people want to trade a gun for a M&P. I still have my threaded barrel and can, so another 9mm will be coming my way before to long.
Something ive wanted to do for a long time. (quick and dirty photoshop of my M&P pro that got traded on a rifle)
If someone would be susceptible to peer pressure and derail a M&P I would be very grateful. I want to see it done before I try it, but I really dig this look.

My M&P 40 w/ only trigger safety(I find it not much of a safety).
400 rounds with no issues.
Ive used PMC FMJ 165g, American Eage FMJ 165g, Winchester JHP 180g
Home Defense ammo is Winchester PDX1 JHP Bonded 165g(will be switching to 180grain)

Robars NP3 electroless teflon/nickle finish really enhances the M&P. It requires very little lubrication and you can actually run it dry because of the Teflon. Cleaning is made much easier requiring only a patch to wipe away carbon. All in all a product that makes a great pistol, even better.

New S&W M&P40 - It got shipped with the black backstraps which look okay, but I'm getting the FDE ones as well.
It is a very nice pistol, fits very well, I love the serrations.

Some nice looking guns. After market, adjustable sights are great, adjustable night sights even better, but for my eyes, I prefer night sights with more substantial 'dots' and three dot (green) Truglo TFOs fit the bill. Trijicons are a distant second for me....

My M&P 9mm full-size
Model: 209301
I've installed a S&W factory threaded barrel, an Apex Tactical DCAEK and RAM, Ameriglo Classic tritium night sights, Arredondo +6 magazine extensions, and a SureFire X300 weapon light. I have about 2,000 rounds downrange to date without a single malfunction of any sort. This is my bedside HD weapon and my favorite range pistol as well.
Cell phone pic - I'll post a better pic when I get a chance to take one with a dedicated camera.
