Brownells.com and Midwayusa.com have them as well, more likely to get them a lot quicker than going through S&W.

Stippled the frame, added some skate tape to the slide and removed the white dots from the rear sight. Still looking for a tritium front sight and I might end up undercutting the trigger guard a bit.

It is Cerakote, burnt bronze. It is now a option that I can offer when people send in their guns for a full grip stipple.

Just showing off my recent purchase today. For my daughter and I to enjoy. She loves shooting my XDm 9mm but the recoil overwhelms her sometimes.
Here she is a couple weeks ago.

My Leo/Mil M&p9 with factory night sights and and A2 backstrap,
test fire date 11/30/11 and it has no accuracy issues. I was concerned I was going to get a bad gun.
My daily CC with a comptac and a lot of cant to conceal on my skinny ***

Look at a factory shield or any m&p. Notice where the top of your middle finger rubs under the trigger guard? It's usually textured. I smoothed it out and put a slight undercut on it so my middle finger/hand sits higher for better grip & control.

My wife's EDC shield 9mm in a Panther Concealment IWB holster from Panther Concealment at Handmade Holsters, Knife Sheaths | Jacksonville, FL
Once she figured out that she couldn't 'ride' the slide on loading/reloading, there's been about 700 rounds downrange without any failures to function.

Here's my Pro-Series 9fs. Other than a Apex sear, barrel replacement, and the base pad its bone stock. Quite a good shooter.

Thanx Wayne. We have been enjoying the M&P 22 a WHOLE lot more than I ever thought. Her school had her deathly afraid of guns. She thought anyone, besides police, with a gun was a bad guy.
It was good to explain the differences to her and watch her learn and do so excellent with the .22.
Oh almost forgot the pic,
I painted the rear sight for a "bar-dot" type sight. This way the daughter doesn't have to try lining up the top of front blade with both halves of the rear blade. Just put the "pumpkin on the post" and pull trigger rear. Simple.
