Finally Apexed my Shield with the aluminum action enhancement & duty kit. I would like to say I did it my self but my LGS where I bought it from sold it to me for $130 and installed it for free. So I left it to the pro to install. Came out great. Now got to go see how much better it shoots with the new trigger and barrel.

M&P45 Shield - Navy Style
The latest addition to my M&P collection, a M&P45 SHIELD. This
one is for CC and should serve me well as it fits my hand (love
the aggressive stippling) and is very accurate. The kick back is
not all that noticeable and a quick 6/7 rounds can easy be
placed in a 8" ring at 20-30 feet. GO NAVY!!

M&P and two others
The rifle is my project. It started life as a Remington 700 22-250 adl varmint. It will be a 6.5 creedwmore after the first of the year. The top pistol is my M&P 40 That I've owned for around 10 years. Great pistol. The turquoise handled pistol I picked up for my wife when I bought the M&P 40 compact. Which by the way that's how she picked it out. We were looking at several for her when she proudly announced she wanted the turquoise one that has lady smith on the side of it. lol. We haven't had the chance to shoot yet but I would bet they will as good as the others I've shot.

I thought this might make a nice carry gun, especially in my fanny pack holster when fishing.

Hi Folks, finally got my M&P 45 M2.0 a week ago, after waiting 4wks for thae paperwork to clear. Yes, 4wks. Such is the life of a gun owner in Canada. But the pistol is a beauty, can't wait to try it out at the range. Just picked up a few spare mags as they only give you 2 in the case. Now I want to get an OWB holster to use at the outdoor range. Any ideas, bearing in mind that the pistol has a thumb safety?

Not sure if you're referring to the holster the gun or the RMR. But I've not had any issues at all.

Sorry. I was referring to the rmr. I've considered having atei do that for me but it makes me nervous. Especially with the drop safety plunger right there. And then where to mill for the rear sight.

ATEi has done sooo many guns I feel quite confident with them.
As for the rear sight, it's just preference. I think rear of the RMR looks about 1 million times better, but I can see why someone would put it in front. Gives you a little better sight pucture.

Actually I haven't picked one out yet either. I might ride over to G-Code (they are just down the street) and see if they can work up something for me. If not G-Code then I will likely go with Dara holsters again.

I know if I get a tlr6 I want both an iwb and owb, a coworker of mine makes single clip tuckable kydex holsters which I currently use and love but I'm always in the lookout

I only plan to carry mine iwb but I guess if came across a deal for owb I would probably get it just to have. My 4.25" m&p is my go to for owb carry.

I was contemplating the opposite for a while, maybe long-term, so I am curious-- What made you come back? I was considering upping the carry cal to 45.
In the meantime I added a Shield 40 slide as a compromise for now lol.
PC9 slide up top and the new to me 40.
P.S. standard finish on the Performance Center, Mother's Mag polish on the Shield 40 slide.

Very nice. Did you happen to note any weight reduction with the window cuts?
