Default New MP40c added to the stable\SL 357 barrel too

Finally picked up my M&P40c, it's a beauty. I already have 3 other M&P's, see sig... have been wanting the 40c just because I like the caliber and have been carrying my 40FS most days, but liked the smaller size of my 9c. So I figured the 40c would give me the best of both worlds.. I love it after my 1st range trip. Did a little work on the trigger with the Apex sear and spring upgrade sunday nite, will do the rest of the upgrades soon after some more range time. Fixed my TDL so it stays down when I remove the slide and hit the S&W shooting range last nite along with my 945-1. After 100 rounds of WWB through the 40c, I am 100% satisfied with this choice. The "kick" wasn't bad, my accuracy on an 8" target at 21ft was pretty darn good. I think I can say I can adquately defend myself and loved ones with this gun. Using the large backstrap seemed like a pretty good fit, the sites worked very well triple white dot... I used 3 different mags, with and without the finger extension and also used the longer magazine from my 40fs. It was all good, no problem with the shorter grip on the compact frame.

On another note, I wanted to try the 357sig so I looked around and decided to order the Storm Lake barrel with a 2 port extension on the barrel, anyone have any experience with this?

Ordered a .40c today with night sights from Code 4 LLC. Now for the SL 9mm barrel and a couple of X-Grips.

I have a Storm Lake 357 Sig barrel for my M&P 40C but it's not ported. Recoil seemed to be the same as the 40. Maybe even a litle better depending on the ammo. The 357 Sig with match barrel is very accurate and fun to shoot.

You can get it from Smith or someone that sells them, I just didn't see one initially, but while on the Storm Lake site, I saw the ported barrel and wanted to try it... all I can say is WOW!! it's crazy, that 357 sig shell is nasty, felt it in my wrist right away, the flame out the front of the gun was unbelievable, it sounded like a 44mag going off.. took me about 20 rounds to get it to hit the target in the kill zone. Very different shell to shoot than the 40... LOTS OF FUN THOUGH!!!! I'll probably get the FS 357 barrel from Smith or a dealer that carries them. Maybe Midway or Brownells.
