I would recommend Dawson Adjustables for the rear and a black front target sight .305 for the front.

Define "target."
People use "target" to mean everything from bullseye to IDPA to steel challenge to pins to plinking cans to ????

A black patridge bullseye front sight would be as out of place in an IPSC match as a hearse in NASCAR races.

FO fronts are very popular with USPSA/Production, for example.

I put a Dawson Precision adjustable on my 9mm 5 inch Pro. I installed a .305 inch height FO front sight at their recommendation. It was too high which meant the gun shot too low. They sent me a .285 inch and it works. They did not charge me for that second sight. It works but has used a bunch of the adjustment. The .305 used all of the "UP" available.

I have a new 40 Pro 5 inch, and I will install a Dawson Precision FO front sight. I like the narrower blade available. I don't know if I will install the adjustable rear. The adjustable on the 9mm is a plain adjustable. I like that set up.

The firearms are used for USPSA production.

I am a fan of Dawson Precision and Apex Tactical.
