Default S&W Warranty & Apex Triggers

S&W has a lifetime warranty, no? Does installing an apex trigger void that warranty?

Would other mods would void the warranty?

Hello,

From what we have been told, our parts will not void the warranty unless they are the root cause of the gun going into the factory for repair.

-Randy

We have been fortunate in that many of the people at Smith are using our parts, as well as several LE agencies across the country that have approved our kits for use in duty and off duty M&P.

Randy, are you allowed to identify any of those Police Departments/ L.E. Agencies that have approved them?

It would be a nice little list to have in case we ever have to provide examples of how this is a 'L.E. approved modification', and not something we do out of 'blood lust' to make it more dangerouser than it already is [misspelling intentional].

Thanks for great products. I Love them in my 9c and .45FS!

I had asked around about these triggers, and mods in general, and some people have told me not to, just due to the slim chance that if I end up having to use my firearm in self defense, it may be possible for the trial lawyer to use that against me, labeling me as "One of those gun nuts."

I live in MA too, which would make it even worse! I am still thinking of doing it though. Just going to wait on it.
