M&P9 Pro Availability
My local gun shop can have them in a week for $639.00. I figured I could do better than that on-line but they are listed out of stock everywhere, even the regular M&P9. What's going on here?
Do they offer the M&P9 Pro in a kit w/ the case, holster and extra mag? I haven't seen it anywhere. The molded case looked pretty nice.

3 weeks ago I ordered the m&p9 pro 4.25" version. It came with 2 mags. I purchaced it for $559. Didnt have a problem, there were plenty available. Yesterday, I ordered the m&p9c for $475, dealer went ahead an ordered it as well. I dont believe there should be any issue getting one. Oh I live in Pennsylvania if that matters. The Pro version is awesome by the way. Highly recomend !

Thanks!
My local dealer assured me the same. Puzzled why all the online giants don't seem to have them though.

Found six on Gunbroker but after you paid shipping, FFL, etc you might be close to what your dealer is selling them for.

Cabela's has it for $579.00. They are only minutes away from me but across a state line.
Bass Pro would match but they don't have it in stock.

Found a local gun shop that came down close to what it would have cost me to have an FFL pick it up from Kansas. And I got to give my box to a local gun store instead of big box.

I believe they have either night sights 4.25" or Novak fiber optic in 5" model. Both have 4.5 to 5 lb. triggers.

I have the pro 9mm 4.25" and the 9mm compact. The pro definately has the better trigger, it has a lighter pull and is less gritty than the compact. They both are new and everyone says they get better with time. But I can definately tell a difference between the two.

My 4.25" 40 Pro has Trijicon Night sights and an enhanced trigger. Trigger is much better after about 1K rounds. Very nice setup.

I initially shot a M&P9c and a M&P9 full size 4.25" S&W manufacturor reps guns. Who knows how many rounds they had on them, but the triggers were nice. I just sold my XDM9 to get the M&P9L. I got the 9L 5" and not the Pro since I am going to put in Apex parts into it anyways. Was thinking the Competition kit, but now that the new Forward Set Sear with the new trigger is coming out around May 16th or so I am considering that now. Don't know price difference though, need to do more reading.
Another reason I didn't get the Pro 5" was because you have to cover the target with the front sight; 'dead on' or 'cover up' hold. I eventually plan on trading out the front sight, but it's not a big deal to me right now, we'll see though.
I got mine new for just under $500 shipped, I noticed at Buds the 9L and Pro were the same price for some reason. If that held true and they had them in stock then I would of gotten the Pro for sure. I'm sure I could get used to the 'cover up' POI hold though, and the Pro looks cooler than just a 9L on the slide.
