Default M&P 9C and Apex DCAEK

I'm getting a M&p 9C next week . I've already ordered the Apex DCAEK for it based on having the Apex sear and FSB in My FS 40. My question is: Who has installed everything but the trigger spring and how do you like it?
Or should I just install everything? This gun will be used for home defense and possibly IDPA or something similar just for practice. TIA

I did exactly what you are asking. I replaced all but the supplied spring. I ahevn't had any problems or issues. I think the trigger feels great now, except for the reset which I'm not sure is an issue for a ccw gun ( for me at least)

I did it all including the trigger return spring and RAM.
I love the results.

I put the DCAEK all of my M&P's, but it feels the best in my 9c. Super smooth take-up and 5.25lb break with the included trigger spring. I originally did it without the trigger spring, but I actually felt that the pull was just too light for CC. I should also add that I had originally left the Apex trigger spring out of my 4.5" M&P45 but I was having some double fires (human error) because the pull was too light for me. Put the spring in, and all is good.

I would install the trigger spring as well. What is causing you to be hesitant about it?

Some thought the trigger spring was a bit too heavy. I went ahead and put the Apex trigger return spring in. Everything seems fine. Now to find the time to shoot it!
