M&P Compact - what grip insert R U using?
Love my M&P 9c with the small insert. Fits my hand perfectly. I wear an XL glove, but for some reason prefer the compact grip configuration.
What are you using? Was your preference based upon your range experience?

I use the large one on my MP45 midsize. I started with the med but went to the large, I find that with the large it automaticly puts my triger finger right were I like it.

Small backstrap works best for me. Comfortable, good hand position and control.

Medium on my M&P9c.
I love how high the big one goes up around the webbing of your hand but can't stand the bulginess of the sides. It protrudes too much into my palms. I wonder if you could grind/sand down the sides.

I have small hands, and I have used the small insert on all my M&Ps, FS and compact, 45 and 9mm.

I take an XL glove and like the small grip on my FS and my compact, BUT I use the medium... I just feel bad using the small!!
I need to go to the range and see if I shoot any differently. The changes between medium and small aren't real noticeable to me.

I use the medium. The large doesn't feel right to me.

Small on my M&P9c. I seem to point most naturally with this grip opposed to the medium and large.

Same here. The small insert works best for me even though I have pretty large hands.

Large, I had a curved backstrap on my 1911 and the large insert most replicates that feel. I have really long fingers, with the small grip my fingers go all the way around to my palm.

I used to use the medium, but now large on both my 9c and FS9 because I feel it puts my finger in a better position on the trigger.
One daughter like the medium on the 9c, and the other daughter likes the small on the FS. Good thing we have choices.

I agree...I tried the large on my 9c and it felt like I had a golf ball in my hand. I have the small on my compacts and the large on my .40 FS because it gives me the best trigger feel...maybe I could get a spare large grip and try sanding down the sides, just to see how much of a difference it makes...

I use the Crimson Trace inserts on both my 9c and 9FS.
I'd say they're a little rounder in the palm area than the S&W medium insert.

I use the large on my 40C but the small on the 40Pro. Not sure why but the large feels better on the shorter grip.
