M&P 5inch duo tone
Gran thats sweet but its making me a bit sad. I had the same pistol a 5 inch duo tone Pro that i put about 3k flawless rounds thru and then like a dummy traded it for some gun i fell in love with. I regret it so much. if i find another Pro duo tone i will buy it again!
Enjoy yours they are certainly one of the top 9mm's on the market.

Yup....I saw this on an on line auction and snapped it up. This is only the second one I've ever seen.

That is nice. I have been looking for a 9mm pro for a while, the duo tone would be a definite nice to have.

5" 9MM Pro Series...number 2 5" 9MM Pro Series...number 2
Well, Bud's sent me the email today and I happened to be sitting at the computer when it came in. I jumped immediately and now have a 5" 9mm pro on it's way. I have been trying to find one now for about 6 months and today was the lucky day. It will probably take a week to get here, so I will just have to keep shooting my .40c until it arrives. Just wanted to share the joy, even if this is only my first.

Congratulations....I know the feeling I searched for months for my first one and when this duo tone popped up I couldn't resist

Got the 9 pro today! Only three days from placement of order with Bud's. Shot 75 rounds this afternoon and very accurate. But trigger wasn't as smooth as I expected. Not really any better than my 40c. Maybe it will get better with some shooting.

Saw one today at my local shop and was impressed, I may have to buy it. Not only an attractive pistol, it sat well in the hand and had a great feel to it. The sights are the best I've seen on an M&P.

Very nice, I just picked up the exact same pistol yesterday. My first S&W and only had the chance to put about 20 rounds through it, but I absolutely love it. Took about 5 months to find it!

I found a M&P Pro 9mm today just like the one in the photo above. The sku number on the one I found is 178033. Not 178010 which is the sku number of the model currently in production. I contacted Smith and Wesson and asked them why the 178033 model was no longer produced and they said it was a limited edition run, and they made less than 1000 of them. They said if you have one, you have made a really rare find. They also said everything was the same as the current model produced, with the exception of the color of the slide.

Love my M&P Pro 9mm!!! Took me 4-6 weeks to find one but it was worth the wait. I have my eye on the M&P Pro .40 w/5" bbl now.

I've got the same pistol, 178033...should I not be putting 300 rounds through it on the weekends then?

Sort of Pro related and sort of two tone related...
Since getting my Pro a few months ago I stopped shooting the FS so I had the slide, barrel, take down lever, and slide stop plated Teflon/electroless nickle. Cheaper than buying a new gun.

I just picked up a 9mm Pro TT. It was the only one I could find online. I've shot one IDPA match with it and am in love, but ifr they made less than 1K of them, I'd rather not beat on it match after match. Guess I'm on the hunt for a black one now.

Not sure what's going on w availability on these. I'd call S&W, but will have to wait til Monday. They seem to be drying up since I started shopping a couple of weeks ago. Today I searched Gunbroker, and 4 pages deep on Google by item #. I found 2 in stock. One at Bud's (where I've had less than stellar experience), and one on GB. I could swear Buds' had the 9mm Pro 5" in black for $564. shipped last week. Now it's $624., and "reserved for VIP members". I bought the one on GB for $604. shipped. Bud's has the last stock I know of online.

Improved trigger and night sights. The 5" "match" guns have awesome fiber optic Novak sights instead of nights.

The sight upgrades on the Pro Series guns is worth the cost difference alone, whether or not you mod the trigger.

I got a 5" .40 Pro too, thy cheaped out and didnt include the "stainless" on the slide either.
Added Trijicons, the RAM, and the FSS trigger kit should be in Monday or Tuesday.
doggone thousand dollars for an M&P. makes me wonder...

I also have two 5" Pros; a .40 and a 9mm. I just bought a 3rd M&P, a 4.5" 9mm that will eventually be my EDC gun.
Sold my last Glock on Thursday...

Spoke w S&W today. The DT 5" guns were a TALO exclusive, and there are no plans to produce more. The 5" 9mm guns are scarce, but that is a supply/demand issue. The M&P line is selling very well, so some configurations may have sporadic availability. I did see a couple of 5" M&P40s on GB today.
