Default M&P trigger bar engagement issue

Long story short I installed an Apex FSS+RAM in my M&P9. What I noticed is that when the trigger was pulled the sear was barely moving. I bent the loop on the trigger bar to the point where it will just slip back under the sear on reset. Now the sear moves roughly 50% of it's potential travel ability. Can anyone have a peek inside thier gun and tell me how far your sear travels when the trigger is pressed? For reference when I flip the sear deactivation lever the sear moves all the way until it is flat with the sear housing, but the rear of my sear is still sticking up ~1/16" when the trigger is pressed.

Oh and I did replace the sear housing with a large plunger type.
