Smile Crimson Trace Laser Grip

Hello all, I live in South Africa so many sites don't ship here and none of the local dealers carry much stock, so a friend of mine said he would buy the stuff for me and send it here.
So obviously I can't see it myself... Does anyone have a crimson trace laser grip on any of their M&P's? Is it any good? It is a lot of money for me to convert to dollars so before I buy it I would like to know if it is any good?

Appreciate any feedback

In my humble opinion, its WAY too much $$$.

I looked at it for my 45C M&P

There are some great Veridian green dots that fit on the rail.

Where in South Africa? I go to Capetown and Joberg regularly...... I can see why a gun is needed.

I live in joburg. I work in a very dangerous industry....
I wanted the laser grip do it will still fit in the holster I like...

It is impossible to get good quality stuff here so my friend bought the holster for me from states so I can't just replace it with another.

Thank you for your input

I am a CT fan and agree they are overpriced. But its a tool to me, use it if needed or turn if off.
You can do a lot better than list by checking around, but still too much $$.

The Crimson Trace Laser Grips I have had ever since I bought my M&P9 and they do not affect the holster at all they do however cover the Serial Number. After proper alignment they are great and can be turned off if required by a switch that is built in!

Yes they are pricy but you could do like I did and go on EBay and look for someone who ships to your country or possibly even lives there! These sights take some getting used to to be precise because of the involuntary movement which is amplified at different ranges, so in my case they were worth the $250 buck I paid for them (shipping included)!

I have searched for hours on the net and I can't find anyone who sells it here... We are VERY limited in the stock available to us in this country.
My aunt in Canada said she will buy it for and send it here. She is also gonna get me a safari land ALS holster. As a new and first time gun owner I am a bit nervouse and want the extra security of the locking system.
Thank you for everyone's input
