Thumbs up Impressed with M&P .40

Just got home from the range. A friend just purchased a M&P .40 and we were trying it out. I have big hands and the large grip fits me perfectly. I shot about 100 rounds with it and there was no pain in my hand. The recoil was a lot less than I expected. The fluidity of the magazine in and out is very nice as it is the fluidity of the slide. Can't say much about accuracy as I am the one at fault there. I need to get used to the double action. I live in Massachusetts and here the trigger pull is about 10lbs.
He purchased the target kit. The additional magazines along with the holster are a nice touch.
I now know what I am buying next.

The M&P is an excellent gun.I don't own one, yet, but I have rented a few at my local gun ranges.I have a Sigma 40VE,the only .40 cal. I own.If I were to get an M&P it would be a 9mm,4.25" barrel.

Even tho .40 cal ammo is a bit more then 9mm,I have seen the .40 cal ammo price coming down a bit in the last year or so.

When you get it make sure you post pics! We love new gun porn pics around here
