M&P9C Grip Sleeve?
Anyone find any brand of grip sleeve (not a magazine extension) that seems to work ok on the M&P 9 compact?
Tell me stuff...

Have you tried out the Hogue Hand-All? I put the Jr. Version on my P22 and it works well. It might fit the 9c with the smallest backstrap if you used some dish soap to get it on. I think the regular version would fit better with just trimming the bottom off if it's too long.

I put the Hogue Handall Jr on my M&P 40c and it made a big difference for me with the finger groove. It's a little hard to get on, but as bharner suggested, use dish soap or whatever else works best. You may have to trim the bottom a bit, but no big deal. I put mine over the smallest backstrap also. Makes it real easy to hold on to.

These may make the pistol secure in your hand, but they make it hard for me to get a grip on the pistol in the holster. Requires a grip adjustment as the sights come up to line of sight.
I watch these being cut off at lunch on the first day of entry level tactical pistol courses where folks show up with all sorts of unsuitable equipment -- and condoms on their pistol grips.

Talon just came out with grips for M&P series pistols. They wouldn't be as bulky as a grip sleeve would be.

Well, I got a Handall Jr, but looks more like I may leave the trimmed up full size Handall on instead, seems like someone is missing an opportunity by not making a little sleeve to fit this frame catagory, size code: SFF short, fat frame ?

I've ordered the talon grips rubberized version. Will report how they perform.

Talon grips arrived. Very easy to install. Significant improvement over slippery factory feel. Another thread said they only came with one grip for the mag pinky extension, but I received two. uploadfromtaptalk1327359420767.jpg

Yes, my talon grips were also very easy to install, and the grip is much improved as you mentioned. I'm very happy with the $11 investment I made in my EDC pistol. My grips also came with the extra pinky extension grip, but I asked for this in the special comments so I cannot confirm whether they are including this by default now.

Okay, time for an update. It's been four years, what (if anything) new do we know about grip sleeves for the M&P9 compact?

I have grips on all my pistols. I recently ordered talon grips for my new Shield PC. I always get rubberized but I goofed and ordered the rough grips by mistake. But I put them on and I actually like them. Live and learn.

Talon rubberized grips are still my favorite - don't care for anything that just slips on
