I've been on this forum for awhile but haven't posted anything recently because I've been on a Glock binge for the last few years. I was hesitant to buy an M&P when I lived in NY because they were pricey and I hated 10 rd neutered mags. I had plenty of pre ban Glock mags so I just shot my G34 and G19. Then I got the hell out just as the SAFE act was being implemented and moved to South Carolina for a bit and now Washington State. Well I was at Federal Way Discount Guns last month and I saw a used M&P 9 Pro LS in the display case for $499. From the shell case packet it was made sometime in 2010. It had the box, 2 mags and all documentation. I really liked the feel of it and decided to give it a try. Didn't like the reset so I ordered an APEX RAM and CAEK kit and had it installed. Now that is revelation. Cleaned up the trigger and gave it an almost Glock like reset. I really really like this gun. It feels good in my hand and shoots very smooth. However it will not replace my G34 because, of the two mags it came with one is bad and I just can't find any replacement mags. That's my only complaint. So did I do good with the price or did I overpay?
*** Update. I placed an order for those used ones at Bud's gunshop was good. As soon as I ordered them I went back in and they were no longer available. Hopefully their inventory was up to date when I bought. Fingers crossed.
