I am looking for replacement springs for and M&P Pro and 40c. Can't seem to find them on the S&W site. Wolf Springs wants the customer to get one of their guide rods for their springs.

Where can I get the springs only?

Brownells sells the ISMI flat-wound springs specifically made for the M&P pistols. They are far superior to the piano wire springs sold by Wolf.

M&P recoil spring assemblies are a captured assembly.

When I feel it's time to replace the recoil springs in either of my M&P's, I simply order the assembly from S&W and replace the entire assembly as a unit.

Brownells indicates the guide rod assembly is only for the 9mm, 40, and 357Sig. Only gives the spring weight for the three (3) weights shown. Possibly the springs are also for only those listed calibers? Mine is the M&P45. Just curious, though not enough to call them. A few weeks back I needed a set of Uncle Mike's sling swivels in 1 1/4 inch width. The sales person did not know what a sling swivel was. Asked the make of the rifle. Finally directed my call to a Technical Representative. Total call time just under 20 minutes. Sling swivels are working just fine =))))
