Just bought an M&P .40 NIB
What an awesome weapon. I'm dumping Glock. Their Gen4 doesn't even compare to this puppy. I'm an SD9 owner too, but this M&P is just awesome. Got it $400 NIB, never fired. Everything complete. Private party. Not even a spec of gun powder. The guy never fired it, only owned a month. (other expenses forced him to sell). I think I'm still going to continue carrying the SD9 and model 442 on the ccw though. This gun is too nice to carry. and a little big. Thanks

I have been thinking about getting one in 40. Please do another report after you get to the range!

I have the full size 9 and a full size .40 (with an additional .357 Sig barrel) and I carry the 9 frequently. I had a 9c and a .40c as well, but sold them when I had some issues drawing from a holster. I find the full size grip is better for me, and almost as easy to conceal as the compacts. I'll probably carry the .40 once I get a chance to get it to the range and, and get the Apex DCAEK stuff installed in it (I have that in my 9, and it makes a world of difference). Congratulations on your new gun.

I love my 40fs but want a 9c. I have no complaints or issues and it shoots great. I just want a 9c for cost to shoot mainly.

I agree. That's one reason why I opted for a .40 over a 9mm. Now, if they would just get those barrels back in stock...

I may have one to sell here soon, I ordered one a couple of months back when I bought my M&P .40c. Well about a week after I ordered the barrel from Midway I bought a new M&P 9c. As soon as I bought the 9c I contacted Midway and canceled my barrel. Yesterday I got an e-mail saying that it shipped, so I dug up my old e-mail that said it was canceled and responded with "did it really ship?" I should get an answer tomorrow.

I have the .40Compact and like my other two (soon to be three) M&P's love the feel of this gun and the fact that I have one holster that fits them all for both OWB or IWB carry

I just checked the Midway site and it still shows the 9mm barrels as backordered. They may be filling existing orders first though.

Congrats to you. You will be even more impressed after your first trip to the range with it. Enjoy it!

Congrats! The M&P 40 was my first handgun and my everyday carry gun currantly. I've only put about 250 rounds through it but i was impressed.
What sold me on the M&P was how perfect it felt in my hand. The store employee was trying to push a bunch of different glocks on me but they all felt too boxy. The M&P felt like it was made for my hand.

Nice deal! I recently picked one up too (range kit). Still waiting for the weather to clear a little so I can go shoot it. I can't wait!
Stay safe,
Ed
