How much should i ask for my M&P9c
I hate to sell it but the wifey says i can only trade guns at this point. Baby on the way and construction at the house has left gun money low.
so i will be selling my M&P9c to get the new M&P Shield.
its about 4 years old. i would estimate around 1K rounds thru it.
It has the following upgrades:
Custom stippled by me
Crimson trace grips
Index finger notched under trigger guard
Apex Sear
2 -12 round mags, one with Meg-gar extension making it a 15 rounder, other mag has factory baseplate.
two X-Grip extensions for use with full sized mags (not included)
custom Kydex OWB holster
original box and all palm grip sizes
how much should i ask for it. i have a buddy who is interested. his only handgun is aLC9. he has shot the M&Pc and liked it.

Nice looking gun. Your best bet for pricing is to see what they are going for on GunBroker.com. And for that matter that is most likely the best place to sell it. Just remember that the gun is valuable to you because you customized it but a buyer may not be willing to pay extra for that work.

Stock used MP9c has been going for $450 in central Indiana. The accessories are nice, but really only worth what someone's willing to pay for them. I'd price everything for $600

Personally I think it may be a difficult sell because of the stippling. I think your best bet might be that friend of yours. People either like or hate stippling but those who like it tend to like to do it themselves. Just my opinion...

Personally, I'd keep your 9c. Shield to me isn't that much better. I actually just traded for a 9c so all my full-size M&P9 stuff would work with it. No new holsters, mags, mag pouches.

Think I would keep the M&P9c until the Shield has proven itself....even though it is an M&P..... Your M&P is costing you nothing right now, just MY thoughts on the matter.

The gun is worth $400 I think. LE versions sell for that all day long brand new, but you can ask that because not everybody buys at LE price.
For the CT, the X-grips, the sear and the holster I'd add $200.
I think $600 is a fair price, you should be able to get that.

I wouldn't go over $500, and I think that is high. When I see ads for over new price on a used gun, I don't care what accessories they include; it is a deal-killer to me. The stippling has also greatly devalued the gun and the CT, IMO. Once you start carving on a gun, you should consider it a keeper unless you are willing to sell it for much less.

I can buy a new one for $399. I'd not pay over $300 for a used one. Fluff like laser grips don't add to the value for me and may get you more money selling separately.

People are still paying over $500 for these new. I think with the extras it's worth $600.
Yes we can buy LE models for $399, but not everybody knows about that and not everybody qualifies.
I'd list it at $600.

I think $600 would be about right. I just got a new one from Bud's for about $650, but the price has gone up since, plus the sear adds value, holster ans Xgrips might or not add value though.

Depends on how quickly you want to sell it. Not a lot of money floating around and lots of competition too. It may be worth 600 but how long are you gonna have to peddle it to get that much? How soon do you want the Shield? Don't be disappointed if all you get is 300 after all it is a used gun, 4 years old, modified from stock with some extras that may not have any value to the buyer.

I just realized you have managed to get around the 'trade only' since you have your new shield and have it photo'd with your M&P9c.
Me thinks someone pulled a fast one with the wifey
