I got my Shield 45 for $349 + $28.80 tax = $377.80 from Grab A Gun. I'm local, so no FFL was involved.
Originally, it was priced at $337.70 + tax, and I decided to buy it. But I was hungry, so I went and ate an apple. When I got back to my computer 5 minutes later, the price had gone to $349. Moral: If you see a good price at Grab A Gun, you'd better jump on it. Don't eat your way out of a bargain!

About two years ago, I got to hankering for a Shield.
I ended up trading a S&W Sport 1 that I got in an Armslist deal for one.
I got a clean, very low miles (nearly NIB) Shield, with a 3rd magazine, the manual safety I wanted, $200 cash (that I also wanted ), and about 330 rounds of ammo (mostly UMC FMJ's and some Hornady self defense rounds).
So, I have no clue what I actually paid, but I was, and still am, happy with that deal !!
edit: last night while looking for another holster (in a box of un-used holsters) I found a nice little Bladetech/Tagua IWB holster. It took a second for me to recall what it went to and where I got it, but I finally remembered that it also came with the above Shield trade !!

This is the best deal on a Shield I have heard of yet. Back the value of the ammo out and the price was just a little over $100.00.
Does that seller have any more guns for sale?

I bought the M&P Shield ...5/22/15, at my LGS&R. Price was: $399.99.
I However, had just joined the indoor range as an annual member at the cost of: $200. so they gave me a $200. discount off the price of the gun. ($199. plus IL. tax). I was quite pleased! This is their standard practice, If anyone purchases a $200. membership, they get the cost of the membership deducted from the purchase price of the firearm! July 1st. my membership expires, so I guess it will be time for a new gun. Probably an MP22c.

I paid $369 for mine, but it came with night sights installed. Included a 3rd mag.
Also my model lacks the mag and thumb safeties. It seems the different variations are priced all over the map.

I paid $435 for a "hand select" (best of three NIB guns) PC Shield with HiViz sights. Much more than I paid for my first 2 Shield 9's, but less when you factor in that I did not feel compelled to buy Apex DCAEK kits and aftermarket sights.

i'm on my second 9mm Shield, standard version, as my daughter made off with my first one. If you are patient, and keep an eye on Slickguns.com, you can find the standard version for $299. I paid that for both of them, almost a year apart.

For those in Ohio near a Fin Feather Fur outfitter store the M&P shield 45acp is on sale at $354.99, S&W starts a $75 rebate on April 1st. Gun must be purchased on or after April 1st so be careful in order to obtain your rebate!
That will make for a nice deal in 9,40 (334.99) or 45 caliber

Picked up a 45 shield yesterday 439.00 plus tax
Thinking about getting another one as well, maybe a PC version, but not sure if I would want it in 9 or 45.

Paid. $420.00 OTD @ LGS for Shield 45 NIB and was happy about it as I really wanted this weapon. Will also pay at same LGS whatever the new Shield 2.0 calls for as I really want the new 9 also.. But if you want a low price 9 and don't mind the current version now with the rebate is the time to jump....they won't last long with the rebate...they will all go fast.

At Smokey Mt Guns in Sevier co Tn, they are $244.98, after smith and wesson rebate, this is shield 9 or 40. The others are slightly higher. I never saw them so low.

I thought it might be an April's Fool joke when I saw the email come through the other day but this morning, I placed an order for a .45 Shield (nms) and with $16 shipping, I will have my 1st Shield for $241 after the rebate.

Looks like I'm gonna own a Shield. Just ordered a 9mm w/safety from Whittakers for $299. $16 to ship and I splurged $3 for insurance. My dealer charges $20 for the transfer,.....less the $75 rebate,.....$264 total plus/minus a few pennies. Didn't need it but didn't care.

Well, the .45s are gone at Whittaker's in case anyone just reading this thread got super excited - my buddy texted me 30 minutes ago with that news. I told him I would let him try mine at the next range day.

$285 out the door with the rebate. Grabbed a couple of extra 8 round mags that were on sale for $19.99 each too. Not a bad deal in this neck of the woods.

Shield 9mm
LGS $369 + tax and $5 background check.
Of course 2 weeks prior to rebate. Oh well it is what it is.
Also spent $120 for TruGlo sights installed and one each 7 and 8 round extra mag.
Very happy with it but still dosen't beat my Sig 938 Equinox for ease of carry. Each has its place though.

$260 shipped from Kentucky Gun Company after rebate but they include an extra factory magazine. Free shipping, no tax and my FFL charges $0 for transfers.

You aren't going to believe this but Whittaker's has more up on their page right now - and not just the standard ones (i.e. there is now a FDE .40, ported .40 & Night sight 9mm listed - those are NOT $299 though). Sadly the regular 9mms are sold out but I just got suckered into buying a 2nd $299 Shield .45 (my 1st shipped today - just to be different, I got this one with a manual safety .
