When is S&W going to get off their butts & make an M&P in 10mm??

Frankly, it's the ONLY reason I own a Glock, to shoot that platform...
and 10xx 3rd Gen's are either too pricey or impossible to find around here

A guy just sold a Gen 3 29SFD on Northeastshooters.com for $575...with a wolftone barrel perfornamce barrel too.
10mm ammo is really expensive, and kicks like a mule. I was actually going to grab it myself until I looked up ammo prices for 10MM.
I wouldn't hold my breath for a 10mm M&P

A full size M&P in 10mm would be great. Give those Glocks some competition.
A Shield in 10mm would be a handful, especially with full power ammo.

Never say never, I guess...I had hoped that they would build a 45ACP Shield, but didn't really expect it to happen, & yet, here we are. I hope to have mine next week.

It doesn't have to be a Shield to be an M&P. The full size should work without too much beefing up. Maybe even a compact like the .45c frame.

As seen with the Shield45, If/When enough people ask them for a 10mm, they may make one. If you know a bunch of 10mm fans, you need to band together and petition them.

I doubt you'll ever see one, but... You never know.

I wouldn't care for an M&P Shield or even a Compact 10mm, but I would jump on a FS 10mm in a heartbeat. I've been wanting to add a 5" Pro to my M&P collection. Holding out for a 10mm is one reason I haven't. It would make a great back-up sidearm for hog-hunting.

Technically, it should not be too big a challenge for S&W to rework the M&P45FS into 10mm. The only reason they haven't is demand, I'm sure. Now that the M&P line has been so well established, the sales volume should be enough to support a few more niche off-shoots. Can't imagine there are any less of us wanting a 10mm than those willing to spring for a PC race gun.

If and when I get into 10mm, I'd for sure reload, so ammo cost won't be as big an issue.
