Been thinking of 3 basic models.

I'm actually using a Desantis Flypaper for IWB carry and I like. If you tuck your shirt in it sticks very well. Not as good on bare skin though...

I'm new to the gun scene and picked up a M&P9c about a month ago. Always heard about the box of unused holsters that people acquire over the years, so I put a lot of thought into my first one. I went with the crossbreed supertuck in horsehide and added my own combat cut. It's unbelievably comfortable, and the option to customize the depth the gun sits below your belt line, and to change the cant of the gun, really provides a plethora of different ways to wear it until you find the perfect position. Keep in mind I'm a small guy, 5'7 and 135 pounds soaking wet.. really small frame, yet I can wear my mp9c all day under an untucked shirt in the crossbreed and no one has a clue. If you're looking for great quality and customization, the supertuck is the way to go IMHO

I picked up a Desantis Intruder from Midway

Intruder Inside the Waistband Holster Right Hand S&W M&P 9mm Luger 40 S&W Kydex Leather Black

It's extremely comfortable to wear. It's kind of a bitch to put on and take off until you get used to it, but then again, I am using a fairly thick 1.5" leather belt.

IWB Gould & Goodrich all the way. That is carrying my 40c when off duty.

Cheers

I have a CQC and love it. If you want a secure fit with positive engagement and quickdraw capability. The downside is that the CQC is kind of big and bulky, but I don't carry, so that doesn't matter to me.

I also came across a Blackhawk Askins style leather style holster, that is OWB beltloop style, it is compact and very comfortable, you could wear it all day and not notice it. It is a friction style holster--it holds the gun by friction alone, so it is a little slow to draw due to the snugness. It also costs about twice what the CQC costs.

I'm a huge fan of the Crossbreed IWB but they were out of stock when I got my M&P so I ended up with the Galco long tuck. It's pretty much a direct rip off of the Crossbreed. Super comfy. I rarely leave home without mine. Molds to your body easily and carries comfortably.

It's best to blame my misspelled words on autocorrect.

+1 on the Blackhawk Serpas being bulky! Just picked my M&P .40C up on Sunday but have used the SERPA on several other guns for carry on duty and out in the woods. Ill be buying the KingTuck as soon as i get back from up north.

Mark me down as another vote for the crossbreed. Very comfy and doesn't print much if at all.

Blackhawk leather pancak w/ thumb break. Around 5:00 position, belt loop make for tough on and off but is nice for a since of security with a good belt. Owb as a new ccw due to most pants are to dang tight already. Iwb I think only way to really conceal well if u don't want to oversize ur clothing.

I carry both an M&P 9c and 45c in a White Hat Holsters MaxTuck made of horsehide. I have the metal clips and the Velcro clips when I want to make it "disappear." The only real advantage that the MaxTuck has over Crossbreed is that the kydex can be changed out if you have more than one carry gun so you don't have to buy another holster.
