M&P Shield in MA

Ya know what really sucks? By the time our wonderful Att. General allows a MA compliant Shield to be sold in MA, well, they will be all gone. I can go to my local GS and fondle his "one" sample but he can't sell it. It's like simulated sex.

If I were you I would highly consider leaving MA and live in a real state that allows its citizens the right to do as they please and certainly not one that places silly rules on the sales or types of weapons that they may purchase!

The problem here is that even if your LGS gets some of these weapons they pretty much all sell on the day of arrival and if you are lucky enough to be at one of the stores on that day then you will most likely not get one, unless you put a sizable amount down with one of these stores letting them know that all they have to do is call you when they come in and you will complete the sale at that time!

You have to vote, and talk to everyone you know. If the majority of the people don't believe the way you do then you have to consider moving to a state where your peer's values and yours are more alike.

any word on when MA will approve this and we'll be able to buy one?

I've heard August maybe.

I was talking to the guy at the counter at the S&W Shooting Sports Center, and he said they just submitted some for testing, and it would probably be about four months for them to be approved. So August sounds about right (just in time for my birthday - hmmm....)

To my East Coast Freedom Lovers/Fighters,

Move to Indiana where we believe in the 2nd ammendment and have the laws to back it up. Yes, we have taxes, but we balance our books. Often we spend less than we take in and I think I have it very nice here in the Land of the Indians. Naturally, the M&P Shield is hard to find here too. Heck, we're not perfect.

Become a Hoosier move to Indiana.

Sincerely,
Vv

If you don't like Indiana, we'd be happy to have you in Kentucky :)

So happy I am moving to Maine on the 15th. Now I just need to figure out what to buy first!

Yea but on the plus side, our LTC A class comes with very few restrictions on where we can carry.

A real State??? Please clearify as I thought Mass was a real state, (actually considered a commonwealth) Part of the original colonies If I recall. Oldest Police Dept in the Country (Boston PD) and home to the plymouth rock. Tenn Pop 6,403,353 Median home value $134,100. Mass Pop 6,587,536nMedian Home value 352,300. Lets be serious please. I have not touched upon our College's and Hospitals

MP1SG, you know as well as I do that the laws and compliance's in regards to firearms in this state are b.s.
As a resident of MA I'll go ahead and confirm that we're not a real state

MP1SG 04-26-2012 03:37 PM

i agree to a point I to get very frustrated with our laws. I have been living here for over 40 yrs and it is what it is. I just felt the need to retaliate against The guy from Tenn

You would be welcome here in Arkansas. Not as gun crazy as in Mass. And the climate is better. Hunting/ fishing better and the state is not in debt. Visit us some time and see for your self.
