Default CONVERT 10RD M&P22 MAGS TO 12RD

Just got my three 10rd mags that I ordered they were out of 12rd mags. It took me about 2 min to convert them to 12 rounders. Just used this youtube video. Allright! I'm ready for the range now, I've got 4 mags now and a 525 box of ammo. Range report when I get back.

I just bought the 12 rd model and based on your post the mags are interchageable? 10rd will work in the 12 rd gun?

Thanks

Yes, a 10rd mag converted to 12rd will work in a "12 rd gun". The only difference between the two is the peg that gets inserted into the magazine spring to take up 2 spaces to make it 10 rounds. Take it out, and you get 2 more rounds in the mag. They only do this to satisfy some states legal requirements for 10 round mags.

Thanks. That's kind of what I thought but hated to spend $$ to find out I was wrong. I ended up buying a 12 rd from S&W online. I could not find them anywhere else. At least it adds an option. I do like the gun!
